Does anyone ever really know how to start an introduction? Throughout college, that was the hardest part of writing papers, assignments, discussion posts, and so on and so forth. Introductions are supposed to be witty, catch the readers' attention, hook ya in, ...blah, blah blah... Have I done that? Maybe not (insert shrugging emoji here), but at least I've shown my sarcastic personality right up front...or something like that.
People call me Kayla Sharp (or Street if you knew me before May 26, 2018). I'm a 5th grade teacher in a small town in Missouri; this fall will start my second year of teaching. I'm married (hence the Street comment above) to the most amazing, selfless, hardworking man I've ever known, Dakota. We live in our very own beautiful home with two (about to be three) amazing dogs, Zoey and Rudy, and a bearded dragon named Norbert. - Where my HP fans at, though? - We're getting a Basset Hound puppy in July. Just call that beautiful home I mentioned earlier the Sharp Zoo in less than a month!
I'm 24, love cacti, bees, and all things pink and floral, plus I fancy a good adventure from time to time. I'm too attached to my phone, watch too much Netflix, and spend A LOT of time reading. One of those things is better than the others, am I right? Cooking is my favorite and eating is a close second. I'm confident, sarcastic, and worry way too much, but that's me in a nutshell.
Welcome to the Sharp Aesthetic, where I'll fill you in on all things Sharp: photography (amateur, but trying), writing (same as photography), teaching, marriage, recipes and cooking, pets, home, and everything in between. I hope this blog helps the readers be happy with themselves and their lives. After all, life is too short to be sad when it rains.

P.S. Just realized I really like to use parentheses.....(not sad about it.)
P.S.S. Enjoy this amateur photography shot of the most adorable bumblebee that I sentimentally named Clarence. Hope you're doing good, Clare. <3
